Volkswagen AG Group Research

For the innovative vehicle studies conducted by Volkswagen AG, Cogneus cooperated with Volkswagen’s Research & Development and Design departments to develop new operating concepts and menu structures for driver assistance, infotainment and navigation applications in the next generation of cars.

Based on diverse scenarios, we started out by analysing these innovative systems and mapping potential operating structures. In preparation for future implementation we developed HMI concepts and designed and produced prototypes. These software prototypes were programmed as flash simulations and were tested in mock ups and vehicle prototypes.

This cooperation with Volkswagen AG produced several important invention and patent applications.
